RK THAKUR SONS & CO. began operations in 2012 as a proprietorship under Shivnanda Balusing Thakur, based on the Parbhani–Jintur Highway in Dharamapuri, Maharashtra. What started as a focused spices business has, over the years, continued to serve buyers with the same core commitment: dependable Indian spices, handled properly from intake to dispatch.

Rather than expanding into unrelated categories, the company has kept its attention on doing a small number of products well — a decision that continues to shape how the business operates today.

Our work centres on six core products — Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seeds, Green Cardamom, Red Chilli and Turmeric. Each is sourced, handled and packed with the same attention, whether it leaves our facility as a whole spice or a fine ground powder.

This focused range allows us to concentrate on consistency rather than variety, and additional spice products may be added to this range over time as the business grows.

Our approach centres on careful raw material selection, consistent processing and hygienic handling at every stage. We treat each batch with the same standard, so buyers can expect the product they receive to match what they ordered — every time.
